This product is a kind of oil antioxidant with excellent performance, low cost and convenient use. It is mainly used in fuel oils, machine oils and lubricating oils to replace BHT with a relatively high price. It is strictly prohibited to add this product as an antioxidant to edible oils.
At room temperature, it is a light yellow or orange oily liquid. It is readily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, esters, ketones, alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons, like ethanol, butyl acetate, gasoline, etc. It is insoluble in water. This product has good antioxidant and anti-gumming performance as well as oil solubility.
It is used for formulating various industrial lubricating oils, such as turbine oils, transformer oils, hydraulic oils, machine tool oils and fuel oils, etc. It can be used as an anti-aging agent in rubber.
Recommended dosage: 0.1~1.0%
